I'm headed back to my second city, Dublin, Ireland, to take part in the Dublin Book Festival. It is the largest programme ever - over 100 events in 5 days - reflecting the incredible work being created by Ireland's writers, illustrators, artists and publishers! I will be teaching at my old secondary school, reading at the Poetry Ireland Introduction Series (alongside some of the country’s finest and brightest) and hosting Anonyms (my audience-interactive event series) on names, their meanings and implications.

I’m most nervous of teaching poetry in my old school, where my former poetry teacher is now the headmaster. If he asks to sit in in my class, I may melt into a puddle. If you are in the city, or have friends and fam there, send them my way…
