Someone once described me as mysterious, and I realised they really didn’t know me, because I am not. At all. I’m an open book. If I tried to open up any further, my ass-crack would crack. Demystifying everything is really key to my practice and it is the joy I get from running poetry workshop. 

Back track a few years. I wondered how to create mass-participatory poetry exercises, and started Twitter Poetry Workshop - a creative writing class that happens in real time, on twitter. In a single hour, you’ll have time to think, write, edit a pome and submit it to an anthology, and you can take part from wherever you are in the world. All you need are tools to write with, and to follow this account: @Twitterpoetry. 

This workshop will be run by my first ever poetry editor and publisher, the illustrious Nii Ayikwei Parkes. He taught me much of all I know, and will be teaching you.
